ITV2 HD will launch exclusively on the Sky platform at 8pm tonight, while ITV3 HD and ITV4 HD will follow next month.

Coming to position 225 on Sky’s programming guide, ITV2 HD will carry a selection of programmes in native HD, including 71 Degrees North, The Xtra Factor, Gossip Girl and The Vampire Diaries.

Upcoming highlights on the channel include new series The Only Way Is Essex, the return of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here Now! and new music show One Night Stand. ITV2 HD will be available to all Sky+ HD subscribers.

In August, ITV confirmed its move into pay-TV services with the launch of high definition versions of ITV2, ITV3 and ITV4 exclusively on Sky.

Today, the broadcaster announced that ITV3 HD and ITV4 HD will become available on the satellite platform in November.
