This morning saw a few more frequency changes for some ITV channels on UK TV Astra 2 satellites.

It appears that these changes are in readiness for moving all the ITV SD channels to a single frequency.

This would, in theory, allow ITV to upgrade one of their frequencies to DVBS2, and allow for more ITV HD channels to transmit from their own frequency. Currently there are a handful of ITV1 HD regional variations that are transmitting on Sky owned frequencies.

ITV4 moved from 10.758 V to 10.891 H
and
ITV Meridian SE+1 and ITV Central West moved from from 10.758 V moved to 10.906 V

Sky and Freesat boxes will automatically update to the new frequencies.

Users of other satellite receivers will have to rescan to pick up the channels on their new frequencies. Instructions how to rescan for UK TV channels on some other satellite receivers can be found on our YouTube channel.
