The walk from the Grau de Gandía to the Faro del Grao de Gandía is one of the most peaceful and scenic experiences along the Valencian coastline.

This video captures the full journey in a POV style, starting at the lively harbour area and ending at the small lighthouse that marks the entrance to the port.

The route begins in the marina and fishing port, where boats come and go throughout the day. From here, the path leads onto the long Espigón — a breakwater stretching nearly a kilometre out into the Mediterranean Sea. As you follow the walkway, you’re surrounded by open water on both sides. The sound of the waves, the sight of seabirds passing overhead, and the wide, unobstructed views of the coastline create a calm and relaxing atmosphere.

Reaching the lighthouse at the end of the breakwater is the highlight of the walk. The Faro del Grao de Gandía may be small, but it offers some of the best panoramic views of the sea, the port, and the coastline stretching in both directions. It’s a favourite spot for locals and visitors alike, especially during sunrise and sunset when the colours of the sky reflect beautifully on the water.

El paseo desde el Grau de Gandía hasta el Faro del Grao de Gandía es una de las experiencias más tranquilas y pintorescas del litoral valenciano. Este vídeo captura el recorrido completo en primera persona, comenzando en la animada zona portuaria y terminando en el pequeño faro que marca la entrada al puerto.

La ruta comienza en el puerto deportivo y pesquero, donde los barcos entran y salen a lo largo del día. Desde aquí, el sendero se adentra en el largo Espigón, un rompeolas que se adentra casi un kilómetro en el mar Mediterráneo. Al seguir el paseo, se está rodeado de agua abierta a ambos lados. El sonido de las olas, el avistamiento de aves marinas y las amplias vistas panorámicas del litoral crean una atmósfera tranquila y relajante.

Llegar al faro al final del rompeolas es el punto culminante del paseo. El Faro del Grao de Gandía puede ser pequeño, pero ofrece algunas de las mejores vistas panorámicas del mar, el puerto y la costa en ambas direcciones. Es un lugar favorito tanto para los lugareños como para los visitantes, especialmente durante el amanecer y el atardecer, cuando los colores del cielo se reflejan maravillosamente en el agua.
