The 2024 French Open Tennis on TV – TV Coverage and broadcasters
The 2024 French Open, the 122nd edition of the French Open, takes place at the Stade Roland Garros from 20 May to 10 June 2023.
Novak Djokovic was the defending champion in men’s singles. Iga Świątek is the defending champion in women’s singles.
UK TV coverage for the 2024 French Open will be available on Eurosport 1 and Eurosport 2. Eurosport (owned by Warner Bros Discovery) have European broadcast rights for the French Open until the 2026 tournament, extends Eurosport’s relationship with the Grand Slam event to over 35 years, having covered its first Roland-Garros in 1989. This year’s event will be the 35th televised by Eurosport. In addition to 273 hours of live coverage on Eurosport 1 and 2, full coverage will be available on discovery+, with additional streaming-only content. Coverage will also be made available in 4K on various platforms.
In addition to coverage on Eurosport channels, Discovery+, the online subscription service, will also provide 16 feeds of other courts in actions, two press conference feeds, and coverage of qualifying, wheelchair, junior and legends matches.
Unlike previous years, ITV will not be showing live tennis from the French Open this year, as their contract for rights expired, with Eurosport obtaining exclusive UK TV rights.
BeIN Sports have the broadcast rights for the Middle East and North Africa region.
French TV Coverage: France Télévisions and Prime Video
France Télévisions, including France 2, France 3, France 4 and its digital platform France.tv, is exclusively broadcasting the Opening Week (qualifying rounds) and the matches played during the day on every court, including Simonne-Mathieu. France Télévisions (France 4) will broadcast a final of the wheelchair tennis event with Adecco on Court Philippe-Chatrier on Saturday 8 June.
Prime Video will provide exclusive coverage of the 11 evening sessions (Sunday 26 May to Wednesday 5 June) beginning at 8.30pm. The semi-finals and the final, singles and doubles (men and women) and the mixed doubles final will be co-broadcast by France Télévisions and Prime Video.
Coverage in other areas of Europe will be via Eurosport and Discovery+
The FFT has also signed a new agreement with CCTV in China to broadcast Roland-Garros for the next five years.
In Oceania, the FFT is delighted to extend its contract with Nine in Australia and Sky in New Zealand. Finally, CJ Media will continue to successfully broadcast the next three editions of the tournament in South Korea.
Bein Sports will broadcast Roland-Garros in the Mena regions
NBC and the Tennis Channels will broadcast Roland-Garros in the USA
Supersport and Canal+ will broadcast Roland-Garros in the African contenent.
