E4 HD coming soon…..?
There are tests at the moment on 11856 v for what looks like E4 HD.
(note if you can receive Eurosport HD then you will be able to receive E4 HD, as long as it stays on the same frequency if / when it goes live)
It is currently encrypted, suggesting that Sky viewing card, probably a freesatfromsky card (and HD box obviously) is required to view.
There has been no official confirmation from Channel 4 about the launch of more HD channels, but maybe Film4 HD is also in the pipeline.

E4 HD will launch onto epg 215 on December 14th.

or free to view
– its going to be in the Sky pay HD pack – and require subscripion to the sky hd mix.
This is a multi year deal so no chance of it going Free To Air (ie no sky card) anytime soon.
The launch of E4HD means you can view the complete Channel E4 schedule and enjoy a high definition experience. The channel is a simulcast of the core E4 channel with a proportion of programmes produced and transmitted in the HD format. E4HD is currently available to subscribers of Sky HD
The E4 HD service will be available on channel 215 via Sky HD only, so you will need to have a Sky HD box and viewing card, as well as an HD ready TV to view.
