Astra 2G Satellite – new launch date
After the scheduled launch of the Astra-2G satellite on the on November 28 was been postponed due to a malfunction of the complex command devices booster “Briz-M”, a new launch date has been announced.
The malfunction was due to a faulty gyro on the Briz M rocket, which now needs to be replaced.
Reports now say the launch of Astra 2G has been delayed by one month, with the new launch date of the 28th December 2014.
