BBC Three : Freesat and Sky channel numbers
Ahead of its (re)launch on 1st February 2022, BBC Three will be added to the Freesat and Sky channel list in the next day or two.
For Freesat users this will mean a small channel shuffle, as the BBC make changes to its channel list to accommodate BBC Three.
The channels moves are summarized below:
BBC Three will be on Freesat channel 107.
BBC Four will move from Freesat channel 107 to channel 108
BBC Alba stays on Freesat channel 109
BBC Scotland moved from Freesat channel 108 to 110.
BBC country variations on Freesat channel 110 will move to 180
Freesat receivers should automatically update and add BBC Three to channel 107 and move BBC Four and Scotland by Friday morning.

On Sky boxes BBC Three will be allocated to channel Sky 117 (unless you are in the London area where it will be on channel 173.
Users using other satellite receivers, or TVs with built in satellite tuners, may have to rescan for BBC Three to appear in their channel list, but may find that as it is timesharing a frequency with CBBC, you may just need to go to that CBBC channel instead.
