Anthony Joshua vs Oleksandr Usyk 2 – times and TV channels

 

Oleksandr Usyk met Anthony Joshua for the first time on 25 September 2021, which resulted in a unanimous decision defeat for Joshua, losing the WBA (Super), WBO and IBF titles to Usyk. But the two are getting back in the ring after nearly a year, with the fight rescheduled from May.

This fight is being billed as the Rage on the Red Sea and is on Saturday, August 20.

It will be held in the indoor arena at the King Abdullah Sports City in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

The undercard action is set to begin from 3pm UK time, with a number of preliminary bouts for those in attendance before radio and TV coverage begins.

Ring walks are expected around 10.30pm with promoters Matchroom confirming the estimated main event start time is 10:54pm in the UK, which is gone midnight local time.

The Joshua v Usyk 2 fight will be shown in the UK on Sky Sports Box Office with their broadcast starting from 6pm.

For those in Ukraine , Usyk gained the rights from the Saudi organisers to stream the Joshua v Usyk rematch for free. Usyk is said to have asked to buy the rights for those in his home country, but the organisers gave him the rights for free..

In the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) regions, then live coverage for Joshua v Usyk 2 will be available on MBC’s streaming platform www.shahid.net under the sports package of Shahid VIP.

For the rest of the world (ie everywhere excluding the UK, Ireland, MENA and Ukraine) the rights for Joshua v Usyk 2 are with internet streaming service DAZN.
