American NFL Football will be shown by ITV in a new three year deal, taking over from the BBC.
ITVs coverage of the new NFL season starts on ITV on
Friday 9th September with the first in a series of hour-long weekly highlights shows.
The deal also includes the showing of two of the three NFL London games, and live coverage of the Superbowl.
New York Giants v Green Bay Packers at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on 9th October 2022
Jacksonville Jaguars v Denver Broncos at Wembley Stadium on 30th October 2022.
Super Bowl LVII, live from Glendale, Arizona, on 12th February 2023
As in previous years, full coverage remains with Sky Sports, and does not affect Channel Fives Monday Night football coverage.
Niall Sloane, ITV Director of Sport, said:
“This deal will bring to ITV viewers the very best of the NFL each week in our highlights shows throughout the season as well as key live games. We’re delighted to be able to offer viewers, free to air, across our channels as well as the ITV Hub, the unique spectacle and action the NFL brings.”
