Frequency Changes today : Talking Pictures Thats TV affected
Today another group of UK TV channels changed their frequency settings.
This change is the latest in the process to move frequencies from the old DVBS standard ( see more here ) , to the newer and more efficient DVBS2 standard. This means that more channels can be allocated onto a particular frequency, due to better compression.
The change also means that these channels are now NO longer available on standard definition satellite boxes.
If you have a Sky HD digibox, or Freesat HD set top box, then these changes should be automatic.
Users of other satellite receiver will need to perform a channel rescan, perhaps changing or adding the new settings, to continue to watch these channels.
The channels affected in todays change are as follows :
TRUE CRIME
TRUE CRIME X

That’s TV (UK)
