We watch the Vuelta Ciclista a la Safor in Benirredrà, Gandia—and experienced an incredibly close photo finish for 4th place at the line!

Stage 3 of the Volta La Safor 2025, scheduled for February 22, was rescheduled to Sunday, May 18. The final stage consisted of a 52-kilometer ride, starting from Benirredrà and ending in Gandia.

Although the course was fairly flat, it featured a demanding climb up to the Puerto de Barx near the finish—a climb up that tested the riders and caused tension toward the conclusion of the race.

The Volta La Safor is among the most significant events in the local cycle calendar, and it attracts competitors in a variety of categories: male masters (40, 50, 60) and female juniors, under-23, elite, and masters (30, 40, 50, 60). In 2025, it was organized by SLT Sport and sponsored by the Mancomunitat de Municipis de la Safor, local municipalities, and Diputació de València.

With almost ideal conditions and a scenic road, the final stage provided drama and spectacle—ending the race on a high note for both riders and spectators.

La tercera etapa de la Volta La Safor 2025, programada para el 22 de febrero, se reprogramó para el domingo 18 de mayo. La etapa final consistió en un recorrido de 52 kilómetros, con salida desde Benirredrà y llegada a Gandia.

Aunque el recorrido era bastante llano, incluyó una exigente subida al Puerto de Barx cerca de la meta, una subida que puso a prueba a los ciclistas y generó tensión hacia el final de la carrera.

La Volta La Safor es uno de los eventos ciclistas más importantes del calendario local y atrae a competidores de diversas categorías: máster masculino (40, 50, 60) y júnior femenino, sub-23, élite y máster (30, 40, 50, 60). En 2025, fue organizada por SLT Sport y patrocinada por la Mancomunitat de Municipis de la Safor, los ayuntamientos y la Diputación de València.

Con condiciones prácticamente ideales y una carretera con vistas panorámicas, la etapa final ofreció emoción y espectáculo, culminando la carrera con broche de oro tanto para los corredores como para los espectadores.
