On Tuesday, 27th May 2025, Sky UK will implement a significant reshuffle of its radio station listings on the satellite Electronic Programme Guide (EPG). This reorganisation aims to streamline the radio section, addressing gaps created by previous channel closures and enhancing user navigation.

The reshuffle will see numerous radio stations moving to new channel numbers. This consolidation will compress radio channels into a more contiguous range, improving accessibility for listeners.

This update follows Sky’s ongoing efforts to optimise its channel offerings in response to the evolving media landscape. In 2024, Sky experienced a reduction of approximately 70 channels, primarily due to broadcasters consolidating services amidst shifts in the advertising market and the rise of streaming platforms.

Listeners are advised to check the updated EPG on 27th May to locate their preferred radio stations. It’s important to note that these changes pertain to Sky’s satellite service; users of Sky Stream and Sky Glass will not be affected, as these platforms operate on a different channel numbering system.
