The 2025 Moors and Christians Festival in Dénia reached its breathtaking climax on August 15th with the spectacular Entrada Cristiana—the grand parade that placed the Christian side proudly at the forefront of the celebration. With their knightly pageantry, medieval-inspired costumes, and unmatched precision, the Christian filaes embodied the heritage of the Reconquista, filling Marqués de Campo with strength, honor, and tradition.

The Christian Parade: Knights, Crusaders, and Warriors of Faith

Leading the way, the Christian bando (side) captivated the crowds with a dazzling display of chivalric flair and crusader spirit. From noble knights to heroic warriors, their procession stood in contrast to the exotic Moorish groups, offering a powerful reminder of faith, courage, and the defense of Christian identity throughout history.

As thousands of spectators gathered along Calle La Vía, Calle Diana, and Marqués de Campo, the Christian filaes made their entrance with floats, music, and choreographed performances. Every detail—from the gleaming armor to the banners raised high—paid tribute to centuries of tradition, uniting past and present in a breathtaking performance.

2025 Christian Captain: Santi Escortell

This year’s Christian Captain, Santi Escortell, carried the immense honor of representing the strength and valor of the Christian people. As leader of the Christian bando, he stood as a symbol of faith, leadership, and unity—guiding the Christian filaes with dignity and pride.

His captaincy was further highlighted by the Guerrers Hospitalaris, who created an inclusive and meaningful boato in collaboration with Aprosdeco, proving that Christian tradition also embraces diversity and community values.

Fiesta de Moros y Cristianos de Dénia 2025: El Triunfo del Bando Cristiano

La Fiesta de Moros y Cristianos de Dénia 2025 alcanzó su punto más emocionante el 15 de agosto con la espectacular Entrada Cristiana, el gran desfile que situó al bando cristiano en el centro de la celebración. Con su caballería, trajes medievales e impecable marcialidad, los cristianos encarnaron el espíritu de la Reconquista, llenando la calle Marqués de Campo de fuerza, honor y tradición.

Abriendo el desfile, el bando cristiano cautivó a miles de espectadores con un despliegue de valor caballeresco y espíritu cruzado. Desde nobles caballeros hasta guerreros templarios, la procesión ofreció un vibrante contraste con el exotismo del bando moro, recordando la defensa de la fe cristiana y la herencia histórica de Dénia.

A lo largo de la Calle La Vía, Calle Diana y Marqués de Campo, los cristianos avanzaron entre carrozas, música en directo y boatos coreografiados. Cada estandarte, cada armadura y cada paso fue un homenaje a la tradición, fusionando pasado y presente en un espectáculo único.

El Capitán Cristiano 2025, Santi Escortell, asumió con orgullo la responsabilidad de representar la fuerza y el honor del pueblo cristiano. Como líder del bando, fue símbolo de fe, valentía y unidad, guiando a las filaes con elegancia y carácter.

Su capitanía brilló especialmente con los Guerrers Hospitalaris, quienes sorprendieron con un boato inclusivo en colaboración con Aprosdeco, demostrando que la tradición cristiana también celebra la diversidad y los valores comunitarios.
