Freesat UK 4K Set Top Box Unboxing and Review

In February 2020, Freesat launched a new 4K / UHD satellite receiver, manufactured by Arris. This is the “non recording” version, with a recording version, with 500gb, 1tb and 2tb hard drives, to be released “later”.

Apart from 4K support for Netflix and Youtube, the box does seem a bit pricey compared to its predecessor manufactured by Humax. And perhaps, if you have the previous Humax Freesat HD box, then upgrading to this box may feel unnecessary.

One thing to note is the “Z” is not printed on any button on my remote control…!
