Sky channel shuffle – some channels get new numbers from the 9th June

 

With the merger of Sky Arts 1 and 2 to form a single channel, Sky Arts, there will also be some channel number changes.

These channel number are on the Sky platform and will take place on the 9th June 2015.

It is being reported that there will be some Sky TV channel number changes come the latter part of April 2013.

One of the reasons is the launch of a new channel called TLC to Sky channel 125, currently occupied by Challenge TV.

Also, some of the Discovery channels and channels in the Knowledge / Documentary section will also be moving.

Details of these Sky TV channel changes, expected around the 30th April 2013 are detailed below.

TLC+1 launches at Sky TV channel 195

Home & Health (currently Sky TV channel 254) moves to Sky TV channel 240
Home & Health+1 (currently Sky TV channel 255) moves to Sky TV channel 241

ID (currently Sky TV channel 551) moves to Sky TV channel 522
ID+1 launches into the Documentaries genre at Sky TV channel 551
Animal Planet / Animal Planet HD (currently Sky TV channel 525) moves to Sky TV channel 523
Discovery Turbo (currently Sky TV channel 523) moves to Sky TV channel 524
Discovery Science (currently Sky TV channel 524) moves to Sky TV channel 525

Disney Cinemagic to close in March 2013

The Disney Cinemagic channel will be closing in late March, so it’ll no longer appear on your Sky TV Guide from this time.

If you don’t have the Sky Movies Pack but pay for Disney Cinemagic as a standalone channel, you’ll no longer see this channel on your bill.

No. Your bill will remain exactly the same as you receive Disney Cinemagic as a bonus channel with your Sky Movies Pack.
