Food Network HD coming soon – to Sky and Freesat
Following the huge success of the SD channel, it has been confirmed that the Food Network is launching a high-definition version of the channel from the beginning of May.
Freesat will be boosted by the appearance of a new FTA HD channel, though we are still waiting on confirmation of exactly what date and slot the channel may be allocated.
The Food Network HD will carry various programmes featuring well known chefs, such as Throwdown with Bobby Flay and Paula Deens Paulas Best Dishes, along with entertainment formats Unwrapped and Chopped.
The channel is expected to first appear in the Middle East and Africa, but a European version will follow.
