Channel 5 owner Viacom has announced the launch date for its new channel Spike TV UK.
Spike TV confirmed on Twitter today it is launching on 15th April.
Headlining the new channel is cult US drama Breaking Bad. Spike will show all series.
Spike has been confirmed as launching on all UK TV platforms, including Freeview, Freesat and Sky.

Why aren’t Virgin broadcasting Spike, as all other platforms are showing it as a free channel???
Perhaps they have simply not managed to agree carriage with VM yet….
Wonder if it will be on the free channels on sky?? I wonder.
As the main post says, it will be available subscription free on Freesat,. Sky , Freeview.
Except my HDD & freeview box isn’t picking it up!
