GOL TV will be no more on Digital Terrestrial TV in Spain.

Gol TV, the Pay football channel available via a TV aerial will, from the 1st July 2015, be no longer available.

A new channel “MEGA” will take its place.

MEGA will be available free to air, and will be aimed at the age range 25-50 years.

Mega broadcast the most watched programs worldwide, combining recognized formats and major releases, and start with the premiere of the exclusive Cosmos and A World at War, two internationally successful brands that will be available for free for the first time in Spain . The new channel will also premiere new seasons open American male reference series channels as Justified (FX channel) or international productions like Bonnie and Clyde Miniseries.

GOl TV will not have a terrestrial replacement. In fact GOL TVs owners will make a new channel available – “BeIN Sports Spain” – in partnership with the Al Jazeera media group.
