Chris Eubank Jr and Conor Benn are finally set to face off this Saturday in one of the most anticipated and long-awaited showdowns in British boxing history.

The bout will take place at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, marking over 30 years since their fathers, Chris Eubank Sr and Nigel Benn, famously settled their own fierce rivalry. This fight between the sons was originally scheduled for October 2022 but was postponed after Benn tested positive in two drug screenings, leading to a temporary suspension from boxing in the UK.

Now 28, Benn has since been cleared to fight, and the long-anticipated clash with 35-year-old Eubank Jr has been rescheduled. Tensions have only escalated in the lead-up, with a press conference in February descending into chaos when Eubank Jr slapped Benn with an egg—a mocking reference to the WBC’s 2023 claim that Benn’s positive tests could be linked to “excessive egg consumption.”

Just two days later, another press event took a darker turn when Eubank Jr threatened Benn’s father, Nigel, who had already grabbed the younger Eubank by the neck during the earlier confrontation.

When is the Eubank vs Benn fight?

Eubank Jr vs Benn is scheduled for Saturday, 26 April at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London.

The main card will start at 5pm BST, with main-event ring walks expected at around 10.00pm BST.
