Forna, Valencia
Forna is a village in the Comunidad Valenciana, Spain, and is nestled in the valleys of Pego, in the northern area of the province of Alicante.
Neighbouring areas include Villalonga, Oliva , Pego, Vall de Gallinera and Vall de Ebo.
Forna has Arab origins and many legacies of the Moorish population, although the earliest traces of settlements dating back to the Bronze Age. A castle over looks the village and the neighbouring valleys. There is also a xiringuito bar restaurant close to the castle, offering drinks, tapas, and food
In Forna, the fiestas are during the second fortnight of August, about August 20, in honor of San Bernardo and San Antonio.
In nearby Adsubia the fiestas are in the first week of September in honor of the Virgen del Rosario (first Monday) and Cristo del Milagro (first Tuesday).
