Sky closes in on deal to buy Virgin Media TV channels

Satellite broadcaster would take over services including Virgin1 and Living, leaving Virgin free to focus on core businesses

Virgin Media is understood to be in the final stages of selling its wholly-owned television channels, including Virgin1 and Living, to BSkyB after months of negotiations.
