There is a new home for Scottish, Welsh and Northern Irish national team football in UK

Scotland’s, Wales’ and Northern Ireland’s European Qualifiers to the FIFA World Cup 2026 and UEFA EURO 2028, UEFA Nations League 2024/25 and 2026/27 and international friendlies will be exclusively live in the UK on new streaming service Viaplay .

The package also includes all matches in the above-mentioned competitions of all other European teams. These include Belgium, Denmark, France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Portugal and Spain.

Sky Sports has previously held the rights to the competitions,

So this means yet another subscription is required for football fans if you want to watch these matches. (Sky, BT, Amazon, and now Viaplay)

This should not affect England’s international matches that are currently held by ITV.
