The raid took place early Monday morning in Wolverhampton, West Midlands, when police executed a warrant at a residential address. Early morning operations are often used to reduce the chances of suspects fleeing or destroying evidence.

The 38-year-old man arrested is accused of selling illegal streaming packages in bulk, which were later resold to the public.

According to the Police Intellectual Property Crime Unit (PIPCU), officers from City of London Police, with support from West Midlands Police, seized a server that was used to host the illegal streaming service. The confiscation of this server effectively disabled the streaming operation, delivering a significant blow to the illegal IPTV network. This action marks a critical step in disrupting the distribution of unauthorized content, further hindering the operation’s ability to provide illegal streams to customers.
