BT Sport has become the new home for NBA coverage in the UK.

The broadcaster has snagged the comprehensive coverage deal for the best basketball action in the world.

NBA and BT’s multi-year deal launches on Sunday, December 1 with coverage of the Eastern Conference’s Indiana Pacers taking on West Coast rivals the LA Clippers. The match will air at 8.30pm UK time on BT Sport 2.

The agreement includes up to 200 games across the season, appearing across BT Sport 1, BT Sport 2 and ESPN, and up to seven games per week through the regular season, the playoffs, conference finals and the NBA finals in June.

Fans will even be able to watch basketball on Christmas Day, with games including the Chicago Bulls and the Brooklyn Nets airing on December 25.
